Scouts from Troop 5 completed another amazing hike. This time it was 10 miles at the Bear Mountain State Park, and the paths walked included the Tower and 1777 trails. Some of these trails were walked by British soldiers during the revolutionary war period. Wow! On the way, the troop stopped at Fort Montgomery and enjoyed a Musket firing demonstration. It was another beautiful day, blue skies and a perfect fall weather. Scouts and Adult leaders enjoyed this great outdoor adventure.
