On Saturday, November 27th the Troop held a grand Eagle Court of Honor in
Bronxville for Andrew Mager, James Rohr, Peter Vorbach, and JP Denfeld.
Congrats from Troop 5!

Please read below. Troop 5 scouts continue to make news. Congratulations to all scouts who completed their projects and for on a job well done, and a big thank you to the leaders, parents and members of our community who made these achievements possible.

Although this year has been tough for everyone because of the pandemic, Troop 5 Scouts showed their commitment to scouting and their scout spirit during the Troop’s first successful virtual Holiday party. Congratulations to all the scouts who participated and the adult leaders and volunteers who made this event a successful and fun holiday get together. This year marks the 30th Anniversary of Troop 5’s re-chartering, and the Troop remains committed to promoting the values of scouting for years to come.

Troop 5 welcomed 20 new scouts who crossed over this February. Troopmaster Denfeld greeted the new recruits with words of encoragement. Peter V., our troop SPL, conducted the meeting and shared a candle light which represents the scout spirit. The new scouts will work hard to keep the spirit alive. To our new recruits, Welcome!

A Scout is reverent. He is faithful in his religious duties and respects the convictions of others in matters of custom and religion. On Sunday Feb. 4th, some members of Troop 5 had their opportunity to show reverence to God and their Catholic faith.
